What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty and refreshing, crystal-clear river, perfect for swimming and canoeing. While some hiking trails can be challenging, the views are consistently described as breathtaking. A few reviewers noted that nearby restaurants and canoe rentals might be closed seasonally, so checking ahead is advised.
"Beautiful place. The hiking trail had more stairs than we expected, but was easy for kids to navigate. The water was cold, clear, and beautiful, with wonderful views along the canyon. We had a great time climbing over rocks and exploring near the small dam. Unfortunately the nearby restaurants and canoe rental place were closed without any further information. There were bathrooms but no water available."

"BEAUTIFUL walk but CHALLENGING. Make sure you go in the right footwear and take some food and water. Our All trails route was 8km (fort Ur return journey). With a short stop for lunch and a swim it took approx 4 and a quarter hours."
Katie Lewis
"Great hiking place with an ice cold river to jump into after walking around. The hiking path is very clear in the beginning but when you want to do the "small" (we took 3,5h for 10km) tour that starts at the restaurant, goes along the river and around the hill back to the restaurant, it gets a little confusing on the way back so a hiking app or map is advised!
Canoeing is also possible for 5€ per person but only in the afternoon starting at 2:30pm and depending on the season and therefore the depth of the water you can't go through the whole river.
The restaurant wasn't open when we were there but a small kiosk shop with snacks and packed ice cream."
