"It's just a part of Roman empire history left in the middle of the city, I was shocked how intelligent was people in that period, a must see place to visit. There is a guide as well, but she was talking only Italian, I'm not sure if they have a English guide. Anyway it's a really cool place but inside is cold so take a hoodie with you when you wanna go there."

"Fascinating roman cisterns, simple but clear multi lingual guide informatio, open Sat and Sunday mornings and late afternoons, or Fridays by reservation only. Well worth the 4E admission."

Annabelle Denson

"This a relatively little known Roman underground archeological site. But it is a MUST visit. Built by the ancient romans, the cisterns were built to collect rainwater. The ticket costs €4, worth every penny. You can visit other sites/museums in Fermo with a single ticket that includes the cisterns. The other museums are also worth visiting."
