Reviews Summary

Visitors describe the Jewish Cemetery of Ferrara as a profoundly moving and beautiful place, often calling it one of Europe's most admirable sites. Its artistic sculptures and serene, overgrown atmosphere create a unique open-air museum experience. While some note a degree of neglect, this adds to its magical, melancholic charm for many.

"MOST LIKELY ONE OF THE MOST ADMIRABLE PLACES OF EUROPE ++ TRACES ++ LA PELOUSE ++
Gives space (indeed) to all those who never returned. +++ Einige Spuren im Gras +++ MOST REMARKABLE

See the gate on the few photographs hereafter (last photograph). After a class of pupils left, we were totally alone. The shadow of one of the trees.
Please note : The photograph of the gate is taken from inside and not from outside.

Overall : Consolation !

++ As with Giorgio Bassani, living in Roma, and with Michelangelo Antonio, hit by a stroke, there is always a "price". But, for sure, the cimetero is a place of a nature which will always be standing up, quietly, with force. Some more pictures taken up by my friend Christian, walking alone with me on the grass. We were standing at Bassani's grave, for reason. But, may be, it is more important, going forward, to look how peaceful the place is. It offers a lot of "ROOM". Good, I think !

Thanks for looking at ++"
