"Absolutely loved catching the public bus up to Friesole. This place was so beautifully gardened, the ruins are really cared for and there are chairs if you want to sit and take in the moments. It was such a peaceful day to walk around. I did see people with a picnic.

Staff were super friendly and helped me despite me speaking rubbish Italian. There is also a cafe on-site.

Close to the museum on a road near the town square is a gorgeous view of the whole of florence. Perfect day.

"Interesting place walk-through. Saw the giant best view during the summer months when the water is in the pool."
