"He was the James Bond of the art world; his background is very impressive as is his home museum and its lovely collection. It’s quite impressive and very interesting, it’s very well preserved and displayed. It’s an educational and historically uniquely underrated museum. I really enjoyed my time here and I would definitely recommend visiting it."

"Really well organized and maintained museum that was once the house of a secret agent. The guy obviously had great taste and even greater connections to be able to collect all those items, be it paintings or statues, columns, blades and so on.
The place is open only on saturdays. the 2 knowledgeable and courteous caretakers gave is a great tour of the house.
They told us it will be temporarily closed starting next year for renovations."
The Modern Etruscan
"Although it lies only a short walk away from the Ponte Vecchio, this must be one of the least visited museums in Florence, which is a shame, for it is full of good things. The museum comprises the eclectic personal collection of Rodolfo Siviero, who died in 1983.
The artefacts, which include Ancient Roman busts, medieval wooden statues, Renaissance and Baroque paintings and antique furniture, are arranged in half a dozen or so small rooms on the ground floor of the house in which Siviero once lived."
