What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Florence cooking classes for their authentic experiences, delicious food, and engaging instructors. Many highlight the hands-on pasta making and the joy of sharing the prepared meal with wine. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some note that larger classes can feel crowded, and the quality can vary between providers.
"This was the 2nd pasta making class I did during a week in Florence and this class exceeded the other one BY FAR.
What I liked:
-The space beautiful and clean and the class was not overbooked and crowded like the other class I took. When they get to a certain size, they moved people to a 2nd location. They could have easily squeezed more people in this space but they choose not to.
- We learned a lot during the class. The first part of the class, Chef prepared the ragu and sauces. He explained a lot of practical things that will help me with every day cooking and I even learned that I've been ruining my expensive knives the way I've been sharpening them!
- Before we moved to make the pasta, I felt comfortable that the best hygiene policies were being enforced in the class. You will eat pasta that everyone has made so hygiene is important.
- We made 3 AMAZING pastas. The pasta I made during this class was superior in taste and quality to the other class I took earlier in the week. The sauce and ragu he made were also much tastier than the other class we took. I felt like I was eating restaurant quality dishes.
The white and red wine available was delicious. I don't want to mention the other class in this review but it's another popular wine/pasta class. While the other class was fine, it wasn't exceptional like this one was. We had so much space between people whereas the other class I took, we were ON TOP of each other...it was really hot and not as enjoyable.
I would rate this class an A+ and the other unlimited wine and 3 pasta making class I took at a C+/B-. If you want a quality experience where you will walk away learning valuable cooking lessons, take this class."

"We had an amazing day with Chef Andrea! Started at the local market where we picked up fresh local produce and enjoyed wine and snacks. Then is was back the lovely kitchen area to prepare our three course meal. Small group of six people which was perfect. Lots of time to try the cooking techniques, enjoy each other’s company and the wine flowed. We left so full that we couldn’t eat again until the next day! I would highly recommend this place."

"My husband and I had a fabulous time on a rainy afternoon while attending this class with nine other participants. The set up was cozy both at a long counter surrounding a stove where our Chef prepared sauces for our pasta and at a large wooden table where we all made three kinds of pasta. Chef Davide was so very informative and entertaining. He put us all at ease and the three hours flew by with a very happy ending of eating our work! I feel I have learned a skill I can repeat and had great fun learning. Highly recommend!!"
