Reviews Summary

Piazza del Duomo is overwhelmingly praised for its breathtaking beauty and iconic status, with visitors captivated by the Duomo Cathedral's grandeur and the vibrant atmosphere of the square. Many highlight the stunning architecture and the magical feeling of being in such a historic location. However, the significant crowds can detract from the experience for some, and the cost of attractions and dining can be a consideration.

"Piazza del Duomo is absolutely beautiful!
We were traveling with a baby, so we didn’t get a chance to climb the stairs, but there was still plenty to see around the square which is where all the main attractions are. It gets quite crowded during the day and into the evening, but if you go at sunrise, you’ll practically have the place to yourself. There are lots of great spots nearby to eat or grab a drink, making it easy to relax and enjoy the atmosphere ☀️"

"📍 Piazza del Duomo – Florence, Italy 🇮🇹
The heart of Florence ❤️, framed by the Duomo ⛪, Giotto’s Bell Tower 🔔, and the Baptistery 🏛️. We passed by during an afternoon stroll 🌞🚶‍♂️, and the square was very crowded with tourists, but the beauty of the marble façades and the sheer size of the cathedral were breathtaking ✨. Even just walking through without going inside feels magical and full of history. 📸"

"Just breathtaking when you walk into the alley and see this in person. Unfortunately we didnt go inside but there are alot of shops around that have nice drinks and stuff while taking in this view."
