Reviews Summary
Visitors note that Ex Fabbrica Campolmi is currently inaccessible to the public, with the building in a state of disrepair. Despite this, its historical significance as a piece of industrial archaeology and its connection to the Campolmi family's legacy are recognized as points of interest.
"Site not accessible to the public. Windows are filled with concrete and walls are high and crumbling."
Austin McGrath
"A factory built in the late 19th century for the production of chemical fertilizers and soap (this area outside the city was specifically chosen, as it was all farmland at the time), it was later purchased and modernized in the 1920s by Mr. Campolmi. The same owner of the former Cimatoria in Prato, which now houses the Textile Museum. I believe that what can be salvaged here should be salvaged; it could be a great example of industrial archaeology in the plain."

"Excellent place to spend a nice afternoon with the family, unfortunately it has not been recently renovated and pigeon corpses infest the building, but I don't want to nitpick, I recommend you try (at lunch because they are a bit heavy to digest) the excellent iron beams whose rust adds that spicy and spicy touch!"
