"An interesting visit; I learned a lot about this method of gold extraction through the amalgamation process, the layout of the veins, and the techniques for creating the tunnels over time.
The route is easy, completely flat, with short stops for technical explanations, a video, and time to admire the (very unique) vegetation and the white mold that forms in the mine.
I was just very disappointed that I couldn't take photographs inside, as it's expressly prohibited."
