What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Forte dei Marmi Beach is praised for its clean, family-friendly public sections with gentle waters, offering a pleasant alternative to pricier beach clubs. Visitors appreciate the availability of amenities like lifeguards and showers on the free beaches. However, some find the persistent hawkers selling counterfeit goods to be a nuisance.
"Nice and clean public beach, bring own umbrella/towels. Lifeguard is on duty. I took the bus E35 and walked 900m (13-15mins). Not too crowded. I had my own personal space.
Beware of your surroundings, and the man/women trying to sell fakes handbags & beach towels. They can be quite aggressive. Probably best to just ignore them."

"Lots of parking on the main street, €4.50 for 3 hours. Family friendly public beach under 10 mins walk from main road, sandy and clean. Gently shelving seabed safe for about 30 metres with small waves good for small children. Some hawkers on the beach selling kites and drinls but they tended to leave you alone."
Nick Lawrence
"Free beach at Forte dei Marmi. Lots of parking in front of it but for some of them you have to pay.
Really nice beach, there are some gazebos where you can rest underneath for some shade.
Really recommend it :)"
