"The church of Sant'Ermete stands in the center of Forte dei Marmi, perfectly integrated into the city's urban fabric. The façade faces Via Duca d'Aosta and is separated from it by a churchyard, raised three steps above street level and paved with white marble Palladian paving. The right side of the building overlooks a green area, while the left side extends along Via Trento. The rear of the church is connected to the rectory on the left side and the sacristy on the opposite side. The main façade, completely plastered and painted with a faux ashlar finish, is characterized by a salient profile adorned with a motif of hanging arches and is divided into three parts by gray pilasters that mirror the internal division into three naves."
