"Adjacent to the University, and close to the Old Port with all its attractions (great location for visitors).
Already belonging to the noble Lomellini family, it was half destroyed during the last war.
Purchased by the shipowner Lauro, it was restored keeping the marbles and frescoes present and became the Genoese headquarters of its shipping company.
It then suffered the consequences of the collapse of the Lauro empire, but after years found a new buyer who made it the subject of a spectacular restoration by Arch Libanati, who returned it to its former glory."

"This is the most beautiful palace in Genoa. It's very romantic considering how lovely the gardens are. The truth gem is the statue of Adonis, an amazing marble guy hunting an animal inside an artifical grotto."
