What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Giannutri Island is praised for its stunning, wild natural beauty and exceptionally clear waters, making it a paradise for snorkeling and diving. However, visitors note that the island's infrastructure is minimal, with limited beach access and a lack of dining options, requiring visitors to be self-sufficient. Some also highlight the necessity of guides for exploring historical sites, which can be a point of contention.
"very wild and absolutely stunning sea"

"The biggest tourist scam I have ever seen. We were 20 people there, wanted to visit the island, to see the cultural sights. We paid for the entrance on the island, wanted to get the guide but nobody was there. We called to the island tourist center to get the guide because without the guide you cannot acces almost anything. It should be national park but without guide you see only garbage, ruined houses everything rotten and broken, full of plastic and metal things."
Lenka Daňková
"Beautiful little island overall, however the very small beaches are dirty and very disappointing"
