"Located on Piazza Dante, adjacent to the Cathedral of San Lorenzo Martire, is the Palazzo Aldobrandeschi, also known as the Palazzo della Provincia. It is a relatively new building, completed in 1903. The Neo-Gothic palazzo was designed by the architect Lorenzo Porciatti. The asymmetrical façade is made of travertine, with a brick upper section. The windows are Renaissance-influenced and feature marble consoles. Two towers of unequal height complete the structure."
