"A very interesting museum with a collection of 3800 mineralogical, petrographic, and fossil finds from around the world."

Carl'Isaac Gatt

"The museum is located in the very center, where free parking is quite difficult to find. That's why we chose the parking lot of the retail chain and with some luck found the entrance to the museum. The museum consists of three large halls, in which showcases with specimens of minerals, fossils and industrial archaeological finds are exhibited. The museum collection includes almost 3,800 mineralogical, petrographic and fossil finds from all over the world, enriched by a collection of around a hundred archaeological finds originating from mining activities, from the Nuragic, Phoenician-Punic, Roman, Pisan and Aragonese medieval periods.
A collection of finds that represents the identity of the Iglesiente area and brings together didactic, mineralogical and paleontological collections composed of local minerals and fossils and specimens from deposits spread over a regional, national and global territory. OK, it's "information from the web", so I'm not adding my own knowledge. Thanks for the info. Worth a visit. VERY, VERY, friendly staff!!!! Thank you for your engagement and effort. In any case, everything was OK. We recommend!!"
