Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the park's vastness, stunning natural beauty, and rich historical heritage, highlighting the breathtaking views from peaks like Corno Grande and the serene landscapes of Monti della Laga. Some note that August can be crowded for climbing Corno Grande, and preparation is key due to the park's extensive territory.

"Wonderful park
Beautiful green spaces"

Pete DiPaolo

"A vast territory, with peaks that touch the sky and lush vegetation protecting ancient villages, hermitages, and castles, amidst centuries-old chestnut groves and boundless seasonal blooms.
The variety and natural richness of its massifs and diverse slopes, and the evocative historical and architectural heritage, are reflected in a multitude of options, itineraries, and visits for all seasons. The Park encompasses three mountain ranges—the Gran Sasso d'Italia chain, the Laga Massif, and the Monti Gemelli—and is characterized by the presence of the highest peak in the Apennines, Corno Grande, which reaches 3,000 meters."

Alex T. Pisapia

"Sublime, beautiful! You have to go there in person. There are also traditional sports facilities. But if you want to climb Corno Grande, it's best not to do it in August, as it's too crowded and dangerous due to falling rocks...
But do it! Highly recommended! Breathtaking views!
I'll add some photos of the summit.
But in person, it's a different story..."
