"A sordid, dirty and poorly maintained place. Sometimes even smelly. Convenient for Roman boaters, but the body of water on which the private docks are built is shared with tugboats and the boats of the Port Authority. Modest 9-meter sailing boats with equally modest draft systematically touch the bottom with the drift when they try to moor.
And this despite the fact that recently (March 2025) they have shown signs of dredging but only the center of the dock. Dilapidated services if not non-existent.
Parking is not always available, also because, again in March 2025, they changed the road layout in front of the dock entrances, drastically reducing the parking spaces.
Fortunately, around the dock there are various types of establishments, including an excellent bar-ice cream shop. The large pedestrian square that was built in place of the parking lots will make the walk there pleasant but will move the stops to the surrounding areas. In short, on the Lazio coast there is definitely better, for what is spent on nautical pleasure. The only positive note: white swans have chosen the dock as an occasional shelter and you often have the opportunity to admire them in their regal beauty."

They've also recently installed a Ferris wheel, which will remain on Viale Traiano until August 31st.
