"Taking advantage of the path on the easternmost side of the slope (from the Gemona Alpine Battalion shelter), we climbed to an altitude of 1993 m, the point where the equipped section to the summit begins. We decided not to take this route because we didn't have a helmet or via ferrata kit. However, we were happy nonetheless, as from that position it was possible to return to the shelter via the trail on the western side, from which the view extends to the opposite side, with the Valcanale and the Carnic Alps in the foreground."

The route to the bivouac (Alpini Gemona) is relatively easy, of course considering the constant slope. From the bivouac to the summit, however, there are quite a few scree slopes that intersect the paths and make the path somewhat more difficult... without major problems, but ''wisely''... The summit of Poldnašnja špica (Miezegnot) is full of remains of fortified positions from the First World War, one could say that the entire summit is a ruin of military buildings. The summit (2087m) also has a (stylized) cross, a registration booklet and two commemorative plaques. Interesting as a hike, and plenty of remnants of war history... As an interesting fact, I visited the summit after a major storm in August 2023, and the scree slopes in front of the summit revealed quite a few iron remnants of shells (shrapnel)."
