"The trail itself is great, but not necessarily recommended with a dog. The trail once crosses a property where a dog is running loose. We had our dog on a leash, and the dog attacked and bit him on the property. Fortunately, he wasn't injured. We would always avoid walking through a property with a dog running loose, but it wasn't possible here, and it wasn't foreseeable."

There's even a vending machine with chilled drinks—where else can you find that? The return journey, 18 km, is a comfortable one, and then the bus to the hotel in Brixen—it couldn't be better."
