Reviews Summary

Visitors are captivated by the unique, otherworldly landscape of Parco delle Biancane, often describing it as feeling like walking on the moon or in an apocalyptic movie. The active geothermal phenomena, such as fumaroles and mud pools, are a major highlight, offering a rare natural spectacle in Europe. While the sulfur smell is noticeable, most find the experience well worth the visit, especially with the helpful audio guide and the option to explore the informative museum.

"Fascinating geological parc with multilingual audio guide. Well worth the trip."

Niklaus Schenk

"Amazing to see. It felt super unrealistic like you are walking on the moon or a apocalyptic movie set.

We parked our car next to the museum. There are only around 10 parking spots so it might be full at a busy day. We where there on a weekday in the morning so not a lot of people.

The hike is steep but doable for normal people."

Ruben Vandenbussche

"Amazing natural experience! This is something you won't be able to see easily in Europe unless you go to Iceland. Therefore, it's a unique experience worth visiting.

The outdoor area is freely accessible to everyone, while the museum, at the same location, is for payment (7€). Museum is interactive and very well organised!"
