What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Spiaggia di Lavagna is appreciated for its accessible free public beach and clean waters, offering a pleasant Ligurian coastal experience. While the pebbly terrain requires water shoes for comfort, the beach's length and convenient train access make it a popular choice for both locals and visitors seeking a straightforward seaside escape.
"Smaller free public beach without sunbeds and umbrellas. It is pebbly. Mostly there are fine pebbles but closer to the city there are bigger ones. It was quite difficult to walk on the pebbles, you need some water shoes. Especially when there are big waves, it is a struggle on those pebbles, because the wave will carry you away and you will lose the foamy ground under your feet. What is a big plus is that there is a shower."

There are paid sunbeds. price tag from 30 euros for two sun loungers and an umbrella. the sea is clean. station right there"

"Great, but I still don't understand why all beaches are public. A disgrace for Italy."
