What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Lido Morelli Pilone Beach for its stunning, shallow, and clean waters, making it ideal for families and swimmers. The beach offers a mix of paid amenities and a free section, with reasonably priced food and parking. However, it can get extremely crowded, especially in August, and shade is a necessity.
"Sandy Beach with shallow and clean water. One of the best in Italy.
However, one star was deducted because there is no shade.
To enter, you have to pay for parking – 7 euros per day – and enjoy the parking spots under the trees, so your car stays in the shade and not in direct sun.
Someone can be happy to find the prepared beach section, where beds and umbrellas can be rented, or stay in the public area if he/she has a personal tatami and umbrella. However, prices are decent. And the small taverna has good food at a small price."

"Super busy beach. Locals parked in the road and walked down . We paid for parking 7euros and another 30euros for 2sunbeds and umbrella (definitely needed on a hot day). Small beach cafe with ice-creams, crisps and drinks. A restaurant with usual pizza, fries etc. Extremely crowded beach but not bad once you're in the sea, which was clean and safe. One toilet for the ladies, so expect queues.
Hard to find a quiet beach in August."

"Lovely beach, shallow water extends far so very photogenic water, and also accessible for kids. 37 Euros covered shaded parking, 2 beds and a parasol. Towels are an additional 5eur if you don't bring you own. Toilets and cold showers complimentary. Reasonably priced bar and cafe. Nice breezy beach meant even on a 32 degree day we were fine spending over 6 hours here with a 4 month old baby.
Beach opens 9am, individual beds can be reserved online before 7am same day. We arrived at 9:08am without reserving, a coach and a line of cars had already formed but there were still plenty of beds available for those without reservations. There is also a free section without loungers. Parking only is 7 EUR for the day."
