During the French occupation it became a military parish dedicated to St. Napoleon (traces of which can be seen above the entrance portal), and then returned to being dedicated to St. Maurice. Closed to worship since 1957, it is occasionally opened thanks to the volunteers of the Mantua Touring Club."
