"Although I’ve visited Naples several times before, this was actually the first time I discovered a beach there. I think that’s mainly because my previous trips were always short and mostly just quick stopovers, so I never had the chance to explore the coastline properly.
That said, stumbling upon this beach was a wonderful surprise. I arrived close to sunset, so I’m not entirely sure whether access is usually free or not, but regardless, the experience was absolutely worth it. The view was stunning—sunlight dancing on the water, the rocky shoreline adding character, and the whole atmosphere felt vibrant and alive. There were even a couple of portable toilets, a shower, and a water tap available, which made the place feel surprisingly well-equipped for a casual visit.
I wasn’t prepared for a swim that day, but I saw a few families enjoying the water even as the sun was setting—and some stayed in after dark. The water looked incredibly inviting, both in terms of clarity and temperature, even at that late hour.
Next time I’m in Naples, I definitely won’t miss the chance to swim there. Now that I know what I’ve been missing, I’ll make sure to plan for it properly."
