"Had such a good day at Bagni Tiberio in Capri. We’d booked a restaurant reservation and sun loungers online for around midday but ended up getting there closer to 3pm because other things ran over. It wasn’t a problem though — the shuttle boat picks you up from the main harbour right next to the ferry port, super easy to find and they come every 15-20 minutes. Quick and simple.
We were booked in for lunch at 1:30pm and even though we turned up about an hour and a half late, they seated us after just five minutes. The restaurant itself has proper old-school Italian beach club vibes, really lively and fun without trying to be too flash. Views are beautiful too, looking right out over the sea.
Service was honestly the best we had on our whole holiday — both our waiters were so friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible. My girlfriend had the lobster pasta which she loved, and I had one of the fresh fish options. I wasn’t sure what to pick, so I asked the waiter to choose for me and he brought out a sea bream with this lemony buttery sauce and honestly, it was one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. Simple but unreal. Came with potatoes and was just perfect.
After lunch we grabbed some drinks and chilled on the beach loungers until about 6pm. The sea was a little wavy but still really nice to swim in. It’s a lovely spot — relaxed, authentic, not showy, just good at what it does. Would 100% go back next time I’m in Capri."
