Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the park's fascinating exhibits, particularly the Roman shipwreck and intricate mosaics, and find the low admission fee excellent value. However, many note the significant lack of shade and the poor maintenance of some outdoor areas, which detracts from the overall experience.

"The park is quite interesting; the covered area is, on the whole, well-maintained... the only thing missing was air conditioning in one wing of the building. However, the outdoor area is a nightmare... a disgrace... in some spots, even dangerous... see the attached photos. It's truly a crime to treat such important and significant monuments in this way.
I would love to give 5 stars for the beauty of the artifacts... but the state of neglect outside deserves a complaint."

Antonio Pinerolo

"This is definitely worth a visit! The exhibitions are not too big, but are beautifully organized, explained and displayed. Some pieces are just stunning! The outside park is surprisingly big and the mosaics of the villa all the way in the back are definitely worth seeing. But don’t forget sun lotion 😊, the area doesn’t look big, but there is almost no shade once you enter the park."

Sabine Erlhage

"Pretty spectacular museum of you consider what they’re actually doing and working on. Things over 2000 years old. The two ships they’ve recovered thus far (at least in part) are really impressive to think about. The architecture from so long ago was still great. There’s also a lot of history about the city and the ruins underneath that used to be the city. 4€ per person, well worth the price of admission."
