What Travellers Say

However, some caution is advised regarding potential overcharging by a few vendors targeting tourists, and the market's selection can diminish significantly by late morning.

"Unfortunately, people are trying to rip off tourists, not all of them, but only those on the left side when you enter, because the famous Signor Fan, seen on TV, is sometimes there.
Instead of simply catering to the customers' wishes, they just throw the fish on the scales, and you get more than you bargained for.
We left there with 50 euros and just wanted something to cook for lunch.
It's politely ignored.
A French lady was also completely taken by surprise and went home with 80 euros worth of fish!"
