What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Taormina Mazzarò Cable Car to be a fun, convenient, and fairly priced way to access the beautiful beaches below the town. The panoramic views are a major highlight, though some note it can get hot inside the cabins during peak summer. The service is generally praised for its efficiency and accessibility.
"Beautiful scenic way to reach the top of Taormina. 10 Euro per person for two way not bad for a quick way to the top. Last ride down is 1 am and the rides are every 15 minutes. We went up at noon and only waited about 5 minutes on a Tuesday if that helps you. Taking it again tomorrow for sure."

"Fun, good photo ops, fairly priced. Round trip was 10 euro per person. (June 2025.) Hot, could use AC."
David Thomas
"We stayed in Mazzaro and went to Taormina for the afternoon/night. The travel is fine but be careful of the ticket machine. We purchased two up and back tickets and the machine stated the correct price. When I checked my account a couple days later I was charged double the amount instead which was the price of two day trips - I initially selected day trips in error and then cancelled. Unfortunately as we had thrown our tickets out when we left and got no receipt I couldn’t dispute it and it’s so difficult to find any information for the company online. Bye €20."
