La Briciola Milan

"This is a very famous restaurant in Milan, but let me be clear: being famous and expensive does not necessarily mean good food—and this place is proof of that.

They claim to make their own spaghetti, but it is very obvious that this is not true. What you actually get is very regular pasta. The tomato sauce tastes like it comes straight from a can, which anyone can recognize without being a chef. Their so-called “rosso pesto” was also a disappointment—basically a little bit of pesto mixed with the same canned tomato sauce, which turned out to be a total disaster. The colors looked artificial, and the plates were not just poorly decorated but really messy.

The portion sizes were small, and the high prices seem designed more for people who want to show off rather than enjoy a good meal. There are many other restaurants in Milan where you can get far better quality for the same or even lower prices. I left very disappointed.

The service wasn’t great either. The waiters didn’t pay much attention to us, and while they weren’t rude, they weren’t particularly warm or welcoming either—just average. Their red wine was from 2022, and in my country such a young wine would not even be on a restaurant menu, let alone presented as something special.

The only redeeming quality of this place is the restaurant itself: very beautiful, stylish, and Instagrammable. That’s probably the main reason it attracts so many guests. But if you care about the food, the experience here is far from satisfying.

One more thing are wine glasses........ please get proper glasses."

"Disappointing Experience at La Briciola:
We recently had the misfortune of dining at La Briciola, and we must say, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever encountered in Milan.
We were looking forward to tasting their acclaimed raw dishes, especially the amberjack. Unfortunately, what we received was far from appetizing.
Upon being served the amberjack, we were immediately taken aback by a strong, unpleasant odor that filled the air around our table. It was not the fresh scent one would expect from quality raw fish; instead, it was distinctly off-putting, reminiscent of something that had been left out for far too long.
Concerned, we brought this to the attention of the chef, expecting a sincere acknowledgment of the issue.
To our disbelief, the chef not only dismissed our concerns but insisted that the fish was perfectly edible. This was shocking and baffling, to say the least.
We’ve dined at many restaurants, and we have never encountered a chef so unwilling to admit that there might be a problem with the food being served.
In the end, we left the restaurant without finishing our meal, feeling both hungry and disappointed.
The lack of professionalism and care for customer feedback was alarming. We can safely say that we will not be returning to La Briciola and would NOT recommend it to anyone who values fresh and safe dining experiences.
Save your time and money—there are plenty of other restaurants in Milan that prioritize quality and customer satisfaction."
