What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Leonardo3 Museum for its unique interactive exhibits and engaging presentation of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions. The digital restorations are also a highlight, offering a fresh perspective on his art. However, some find the submarine experience requires very early booking and can be a bit pricey.
"This is a small but fascinating exhibition of Leonardo’s works. We didn’t purchase the audio guide, as most of the exhibits have English text explanations, making it unnecessary. Some exhibits are interactive, and a few even allow hands-on engagement. One standout is a geometry-based exhibit where you can test your understanding by building a bridge with sticks. I recommend budgeting about 1 hour to fully enjoy the experience. Overall, it’s an engaging and educational visit, definitely worth your time!"

"It was facinated to see all the creative ideas and innovations he created. He was a master of all trades...an architect, engineer, painter and more. Got to come here to see his genuis ideas unfolded. Of course, to come to see the main display of the digital version of Last Supper. How he approached the painting with precisions and different techniques. Amazing interactive experience with some building games you can play. Well spent 1 to 2 hours there, especially after you have done shopping in the Galleria."

"A lovely small museum dedicated to the inventions of this genius. Many of his inventions, he never built, just wrote very detailed records of how to build them. And this museum has brought his papers to life. Flying machines, musical instruments, boats, and weapons. This man invented so much. Most of the signs were only in Italian, however, the interactive screens were also in English. I think it would be even better with the audio tour."
