What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mercato Centrale Milano is highly praised for its convenient location next to Milano Centrale station and its wide array of delicious Italian food options. Visitors appreciate the quality and variety, making it a perfect stop for travelers. Some find it can get crowded, and prices can be on the higher side for certain gourmet items.
"A solid and pleasant dining option for travelers looking for a good meal near the train station.
Just be aware that access is slightly counter-intuitive; you need to approach the court from the exterior of the station building itself, located on the left side when facing the main entrance.
While the online app appeared temperamental (it didn't work for us or our friends), the service quickly pivots to attentive, reliable table ordering, thanks to the genuinely lovely staff. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed.
The food is the real highlight, though. We opted for a pasta dish, and it was delicious and surprisingly rich, definitely hitting the spot. Worth checking out for a quality, easygoing dining experience."

"We arrived into Milano and checked into our hotel, the Excelsior Hotel Gallia across the street from Milano Centrale station. The concierge mentioned the Mercato at the station and said they have great food selection and drinks from local vendors. This place is wonderful! It has every type of Italian food here as well as some Spanish tapas, sushi and Korean bowls as well as vegetarian and Vegan options. There is a great wine Mercado with excellent wines of the day glass selections. I understand they have two other stations with Mercatos in Rome and Firenze. It's definitely worth checking out if you are undecided about what to eat and with picky food eaters."

"Great food court !!! Different variety , but overpriced a bit . On the other hand ...in the heart of Milan - they have the right . Very good atmosphere! Perfect location. Easy access by metro. The building has its own soul ."
