What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for Milan accommodations are mixed, with many praising the excellent locations and spaciousness, while others highlight significant issues with amenities like hot water and functioning kitchens. Service can be responsive, but persistent problems and misleading information have led to strong dissatisfaction for some guests.
"Excellent Stay and Exceptional Service!
I stayed in their two-bedroom suite which was right in the heart of the city very spacious, neat, and spotlessly clean. The service was truly impressive; the staff responded promptly to all my queries even over WhatsApp. The check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, a perfect stay with great comfort and top-notch hospitality. Highly recommended!"

"Both nights I stayed did not have any hot water in the shower. From what I heard, multiple units of theirs had the same issue. All had to shiver during our shower. They only offered a free breakfast on the first night. After a few enquiries on the second day, they admitted that they still could not resolve the issue. Even then, they only offered another free breakfast. An offer to change apartment was only made at 6pm, after we already left the apartment for our activities. As we will be back late and the new apartment is 1km away, we decided that it was too much hassle. Apparently, this issue have been around since months ago(check other Google reviews) but was still not resolved. Good luck to guests staying here during winter. Please also be aware that this is in an old building, drainage is slow, room can be stuffy, AC and lights are only in the living room but not the bedroom. It can also be noisy at night. Only saving grace is that it is in a good location. Definitely will not stay here again"

"We found our experience to be ok whilst staying in their Verdi 2 room. The location was not far from the Santa Maria delle Grazie and we could still walk to the Duomo. It was also close the train station that we were able to comfortably get around town to tours or the airport with. The rooms are old and still in ok condition.
The information about accessing the room was difficult. We did go straight to the room and asked a person at the front desk about our room who did not speak English and looked confused. We had told them when we were arriving. Someone then did turn up and let us know we could go into our room.
We did have issues. Worse was the oven had not been cleaned, it was really disgusting and we had bought some food for an easy night in. We also had an issue with the sink in the bathroom which they fixed the next day but still you have to wonder why they had not noticed the issue. We are also 2 adults and 3 kids and found the hot water would run out after a couple of showers. It is also not friendly for prams with you needed to walk up a set of steps to get to the elevator.
The beds were comfortable and the issue is the air conditioner, which is very much needed in June, was loud. I believe they give you ear plugs but not a good way to sleep.
We struggled to find a place open at 4 pm to eat. When we did, we did not find the food that impressive.
If i had to go back to Milan, I would not stay here."

While many boast full kitchens, some guests have reported issues with non-functioning appliances or a lack of essential items. Similarly, air conditioning isn't always guaranteed, particularly in older buildings or during transitional seasons. It's also worth noting that some buildings might require navigating steps to reach elevators, which could be a consideration for those with strollers or mobility issues.
Communication with hosts is key. While many hosts are responsive, some guests have experienced difficulties with communication, especially if there are issues with the property. Having a clear understanding of check-in procedures and emergency contacts can help ensure a smoother experience.

You can find fresh produce, local cheeses, and cured meats, perfect for preparing a meal in your apartment or for a picnic.
