"This route is one that is unforgettable, not only because of the view, but mainly because of how demanding it is. If you are setting off directly from Limone sul Garda, prepare yourself for a real hike. The terrain is steep, in places you have to hold on to ropes, and any hesitation could end badly. Steep cliffs open up on both sides and you feel like you are literally between the sky and the lake. There are three trails to the top – two of them are relatively easy and can be done by most tourists, but this one, from Limone, is by far the most challenging. It is certainly not for everyone and requires sturdy shoes, a sure step and a bit of courage."

"A very beautiful and challenging hike. It starts at the Hotel Caravel in Limone. It leads through the town toward Tremosine. Then it climbs steadily through a "gorge" to the summit. There are some fairly steep sections towards the end. At the top, a stunning view over Limone and Lake Garda, including the beautiful mountains, opens up. Highly recommended."
