Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Monte Civetta for its awe-inspiring Dolomite scenery and challenging adventure opportunities, particularly the Civetta ferrata. The mountain's imposing north face and the beauty of spots like Monte Coldai lake are frequently highlighted. While the via ferrata is a major draw, some find it demanding, and accessibility can be a consideration for less experienced hikers.

"As a life long climber and mountaineer this mountain stands out among the most impressive with it's 3k ft / 1k m north facing walls and multiple towers piercing the sky. The Civetta group facilitates dozens of climbing and easier via ferrata routes. Hikes originate from the almost all sides, refer to other sources for further intel. I recommend stopping at Val di Zoldo - Monte Civetta (hut/refuge) for a meal, drink or wifi. If you're looking for a bold hike start at the base of the ski lift on the Alleghe side (north) and gain the north side rock gully to the alpine lake heading to the south side. There's an obvious trail to the via ferrata where you can summit. If you're fit you should be able to reach the via ferrata in 2hr, after which is a toss up. Enjoy this beautiful masterpiece."
