"Review of the Memory Trail:
Here is my experience:
After sending an email to request more information, I am contacted by phone, I am given the first instructions and told that I will be contacted by the Guide. After a while Gordon calls me, the guide who will be our guide on Mount Palon. He explains all the details, recommended clothing, directions and even different locations of the place to have lunch. Having reached our meeting place without problems, we immediately felt at ease and we begin to "bombard" our patient guide with questions who, with evident passion and a "sniper" precision, satisfies our every request. We enjoy the place, the place really transmits so much, the mind travels and with effort tries to reconstruct what human madness has managed to put into action. We visit the trenches, incredible to think how our ancestors, the luckiest ones, survived, despite all the difficulties that the place, the climate and the war, inevitably, have caused. The wind blowing through the rocks makes everything sadder, a mystical place that makes the soul vibrate.
After the visit we go to lunch, we discover that Gordon in addition to being an excellent guide is also an impeccable table companion and passionate about engines, the chatter flows freely. After lunch we conclude the day with a visit to the war museum of Alano di Piave, small but well-kept and full of objects, weapons, accessories and various uniforms excellently preserved.
There were 16 of us with 7 fifteen-year-olds, all happy and satisfied with the day.
We will definitely return, those who forget their past have no future!"

"Along the trail from Palon to Cima Mandria and the Archeset Refuge, this interesting route, carved out of the trenches of the Great War, is located. It's picturesque and well-maintained, with safe passages. A useful bivouac shelter is nearby..."
