There are various starting points for the hike, not always with well-marked paths, but it offers unique views of the Castellammare del Golfo area. Monte Inici is a peak located within the Site of Community Importance called the "Castellammare del Golfo Mountains Complex." It is located in the province of Trapani and has an altitude of 1,065 m above sea level. It is the second highest peak in the Trapani Mountains after Monte Sparagio. Highly recommended."

"Mount Inici is a magical place worth exploring by bike. We often take our cycling clients up Mount Inici on our Best of the West mountain bike tour. The climb to the summit is certainly not for everyone, but once you reach the observation tower, the view is worth the effort. The cork oak forest at the highest point is well-maintained and, even in the hottest months, provides shade and a cool place to rest after the climb, which is over 90% dirt. The descent from the Castellammare del Golfo side is truly enjoyable but requires a fair amount of technical skill, especially in some sections where the road surface is made of soft gravel that causes tires to sink relatively easily. This route should be tackled with a good mountain bike or an excellent gravel bike. It's impossible to tackle with a road or touring bike. Perhaps a little road maintenance wouldn't hurt. A route worth trying at least once in your life!"
