"Beautiful views from the top"
Borys Turchyk
"Monte Legnoncino is a beautiful walk suitable for everyone, even with children.
It starts from the Roccoli Lorla refuge where there is a parking lot with a good availability of parking spaces.
The most difficult aspect of the walk, in reality, is the climb by car. The road is in fact quite narrow and a little winding, but all asphalted. It is not particularly demanding, but requires a little attention and mutual respect when you meet other cars.
The walk along the military road is immersed in a welcoming forest where you do not feel the heat and the climb is really gentle without any sudden changes.
The itinerary is not very long, but there are several points where you can observe the panorama, take a few minutes to see the post dating back to the First World War, and just above the Church of San Sfiro, linked to the legend of seven Larian hermits.
Once you reach the top, you can enjoy a wonderful panorama."
Mauro Borroni
"Beautiful trekking, accessible to everyone, you go up by car from Dervio, and in Tremenico you turn left onto a narrow road, and then climb up to Roccoli Lorla, an enchanting place, worth visiting, with the tunnels of the Second World War, for Legnoncino you take the direct route from the paid parking lot or the old military road accessible to everyone, in about 1 hour you reach the summit, with a spectacular view of Lake Como. You don't need a permit for the road."
