What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Mo.C.A. for its significant artworks, particularly the Miró masterpiece, and the beautiful historic setting of the Town Hall. However, ongoing renovations can lead to confusing signage and a lack of clear direction, sometimes making it difficult to find the exhibitions.
"I entered the building and could see absolutely no signage for the exhibition so missed it. I did however walk around the building which is quite fantastic despite works being done on some of it at present. I walked in and out of rooms I’m not sure I should have been in. There was no staff or security at all."
Amy Barber
"The building is of historical importance + until May 4th, with free entrance, there is a VERY interesting portrait exhibition of the florentine photographer Carlo Cantini. The people portrayed have all played an important role in the artistic, cultural or political scene both in Florence, Italy and in some cases abroad. Artists like Vedova and Rauschenberg, actors like Vittorio Gasman all taken in a light and setting which highlights their personality. At a short distance a beautiful Thermal Park from which you can spot the old Montecatini on a hill .
Unfortunately I only took a photo of this last."

"Small gallery at the town hall mainly showing chini works. Brief but pleasant."
