What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Borgo Montegrosso offers a picturesque village experience with charming local events and beautiful olive groves. While many praise the friendly staff and potential for authentic cuisine, some visitors found dining experiences to be overpriced with small portions, lacking the expected rustic authenticity.
"we loved it !! we just loved it !! Words cannot describe our happiness and satisfaction. E buonissimo."

"Unfortunately, the Borgo Monte Grosso restaurant leaves the impression of having lost the authenticity and authenticity one would expect from a typical village trattoria. Our initial approach, without a menu or prices displayed, led us to a selection of hot and cold appetizers: certainly not generous and questionably simple, especially when compared to the final bill (€60 for four).
The second course, a mixed grill, proved even more disappointing: a truly meager portion, consisting of a small piece of sausage, a thin strip of beef, and a small amount of pork. All this came to €15 per person (€60 for four), a price that clashes with the location and the expectations of those who choose a country village in search of authentic flavors and generous portions.
In short, rather than a convivial trattoria-style experience, you get the feeling of being in front of a place that offers city prices without offering the same quality, nor the typicality that should be its strength."
