What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Caffè Poliziano is lauded for its stunning Tuscan terrace views and historic Art Nouveau ambiance, making it a memorable stop for coffee, meals, and romantic evenings. While the food is generally praised, particularly the ragu and cakes, some found desserts slightly disappointing. Service is consistently noted as warm and attentive, enhancing the overall experience.
"Saved our whole day.
Our intention was to have lunch at another spot that turned out to not be open for food when we got there. They were only doing wine tasting. After walking up and down the town, we saw this place and I walked in asking for a table as I was bordering hangry moods.
They put is in a corner booth that overlooked the hills. Parties of 2 can sit on the terrace with a view. There were 4 of us and 1 baby so we needed as much space as possible.
As I was on my ragu game, I got their ragu and some caffeine concoction. My sister got the chicken. Let me tell you something, I was hangry no more. My ragu was amazing. The pasta was perfectly cooked. Not al dente like Rome. The chicken was amazing. The tiramisu was the best I’ve had and the drinks were got was bang on. We ended up having the best espresso martini we’ve ever sipped. Wow
The service was spot on. Everyone was so nice. The guy who waited on us was super nice."

"We made a reservation for this place at lunch time for our evening dinner after seeing its beautiful terrace. We requested a table at the end of the terrace with the best view and it did not disappoint. Our meal was beautiful - I had the wild boar ragu with my partner having the sausage and porcini mushroom pasta. We both enjoyed very much. Dessert was a little bit of a let down but it didn’t take away from the lovely evening we had. Very romantic and I would recommend if you’re looking for somewhere for an evening meal but I would definitely request the table at the end for the view and privacy."

"We were able to eat here without a table on a weekend night because we were early, and they let us sit on the terrace with the best view until a reservation arrived (which they never did so we enjoyed the view for a long time). The food was great, service was very nice, and atmosphere incredible!"
