"Lovely views at various spots hiking up from Monterossa direction to this spot. Took us about 1.25hrs to hike up here from Monterossa - someone fitter would most likely do it in much less time. Going down was much quicker - about 40 minutes. There were ripe strawberry trees and Holm oak along the way. Information boards on these plants along the way. There are ruins here. There are uneven steps on this trek and can be tricky in places. However there were children running down the hill (!)."
