What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Pausilypon Park and Seiano Cave for their historical significance and stunning natural beauty, particularly the dramatic sea views. The Seiano Cave tunnel is a unique highlight, offering a tangible connection to Roman engineering. Some visitors note that the site can be less maintained than more popular attractions, and accessibility might be a concern for some.
"Very nice archaeological park of a villa on the sea. It is between many private homes on semi-private land. The access via an 800m long tunnel made at Roman times is really neat. The remains are not as impressive as the site is."
Walid Nabhane
"Beautiful archeological Roman villa! With amazing views! Elena, one of the guides, was extremely nice! There is a bit of walking, approx 30. Make sure you make a reservation before!"
Katherine Soriano Amador
"Ancient villa set in beautiful surroundings, with two theatres and 700m tunnel accross the hill. I was eager to see it.
However, there are few things that need to be changed and fixed: access - it is difficult to come by public transport and if you manage it, you have to go along busy road in not very nice surroundings. Then English tour - due to the public transport we missed the only English tour. We were able to join Italian tour but for us would be better to explore the Parco by ourselves. That was not an option. The last point - the exit would be perfect at different side of the parc. Now you ought to go the same busy road along to the bus stop. And bring cash - no card payment."
