While some note that English placards are general, the overall experience is considered a worthwhile step back into aristocratic Sicilian life.
"An opulent Baroque palace belonging to the princes of Villadorata. You can visit some of the grand rooms including the lavishly decorated ballroom where piano recitals are sometimes held. Worth noting are the balconies with baroque masks for corbels, typical of the Sicilian Baroque style."
Richard Zahra
"Five winged horses appear as corbels on the front of Palazzo Nicolaci di Villadorata (1733) on Via Corrado Nicolaci in Noto, Sicily, Italy. Five plump faces appear on the corbels supporting a balcony of the palace. An annual flower festival called the Infiorata tajkes place on Via Corrado Nicolaci in front of the palace every May."
David Stanley
"Included in the combo tour with the theatre Di Lorenzo and the City Hall (total a tenner). On its own it’s €4 and absolutely worth it. Whilst not as WOW as Palazzo Castellucio, the ballroom is magnificent and the rest of the rooms lovely enough to stroll through. English language placards in most of the rooms if I do recall but they offer general histories and don’t detail all the wonderful artifacts."
