Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Casa Bossi for its enchanting atmosphere and the dedication of its volunteer guides. The 'Magic Room' is a standout feature, offering a unique visual spectacle, especially at sunset. While the villa's grandeur is undeniable, some express concern over its state of maintenance, highlighting the crucial role of ongoing preservation efforts.

"Enchanting!
Visited on Sunday, December 8th, thanks to the dedication and kindness of the volunteers of the "Comitato Amore x Casa Bossi".
The tour lasts about a couple of hours and takes in the internal garden, the first, and second floors.
The villa boasts approximately 6,000 square meters of interior space and 259 rooms, as well as stables, cellars, an outdoor garden, and several floors built on multiple levels.
The guides who accompanied us shared many anecdotes and tidbits, including the wonderful "Magic Room." Thanks to small, strategically placed holes in the window frames, you can see, in exquisite detail, the projection of the Dome of San Gaudenzio and the Bell Tower, along with the skyline of the surrounding houses. It's difficult to explain in words, so forgive me, but go see it—it's truly worth it!!!
If possible, visit at sunset, because this projection is naturally colored by the sun's rays!
It's a shame that the Municipality of Novara, despite owning it, does not take care of the maintenance and renovation of such a work of art that Antonelli left us!"

"Visit for the day on feminicides. Palace designed by the architect Antonelli in Novara, very close to the Dome of San Gaudenzio also designed by Antonelli.
The volunteers of Casa Bossi organize events and also guided tours on Saturday or Sunday morning. Search for Casa Bossi on Facebook, you will find all the information and times for the visit. Guided tour by donation.

News for August 2022: renovation work ordered by the Municipality of Novara, which is its owner, should begin in the autumn at Casa Bossi.
The Love Committee of Casa Bossi and all the volunteers have created "AAA I love you" or Architect Alessandro Antonelli I love you. The ideal of the group is to make Antonelli's works known by organizing workshops, guided tours in all his palaces, churches, abbeys and museums etc..... Search for the group on Facebook and ask to join"

"Architectural jewel of the famous Antonelli (also author of the dome of San Gaudenzio right behind Casa Bossi).
The house stands on the highest point of the city, conceived around the middle of the 19th century and arrived to the present day a bit battered
and decadent but still full of its charm...
Thanks above all to the committee for Casa Bossi and other associations that contributed to the reopening of the doors of this incredible building...for a short time it has in fact been possible to visit it in large part with a guide.
This gigantic house is full of stairs, passages, halls and rooms with ceilings where you can still see some frescoes and with a truly unique view of the dome and the bastion that overlooks the lower part of the city thanks to the numerous balconies and balconies...
It tells an incredible number of more or less important stories of people who lived there until the 80s...among these stories there is also a small space for my memories..that on those stairs and in those courtyards I had the fortune and privilege of playing when I was a child....seeing it again today it still gives me that desire for adventure that was hidden in every corner and let's not talk about the attic!!!
Casa Bossi one of the most beautiful neoclassical buildings in our country."
