Reviews Summary

Visitors find Ocriculum Archaeological Park to be an interesting and beautiful natural site with Roman ruins, particularly enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the amphitheatre. Some note it's not a major historical landmark but a pleasant stop if in the area, with a strong recommendation to start at the Visitors' Center due to narrow roads.

"Interesting but not that interesting. Roman ruins, if you're in the area...maybe stop....if not you're not missing much. 1,000 year empire, so they're everywhere and it's not of major significance. Don't get me wrong I mostly liked it."

Ed Barry

"I love this wonderful piece of nature where most of the time we are completely alone, strolling through the ruins, over the meadows and down to the river side. There the atmosphere is truly enchanting! Although we are living only a few kilometers distant in PARADISO INTEGRALE, right in the middle of NATURE, we visit the parco archeologico 2-3 times a week. The walk is a pure pleasure - and the cappuccino at the Casottino at the entrance of the park is the best ever. Hopefully this site will maintain its beauty and won't disappear behind fences or lots of people. The enchantment you can breath here at the moment might get lost......"

Adelheid Hörnlein

"Interesting park and very pretty views. But do make sure you start at the Visitors' center and don't drive anywhere else. The roads in the area are insanely narrow!"
