"This place is well worth a visit, it is just a couple of euros extra to have the guided tour and the staff are very passionate. We really enjoyed hearing some of the recent history of Palermo from a local. Although the location is a little scruffy (walking there from the centre takes you through some pretty run down looking areas) it puts the place in perfect context and you will learn why this is the case."
