"Best viewpoint in Palermo, I was told, and I can see why! We didn't go inside the church, we were just there to climb to the top of the Cupola. The journey up there was a hair-raising experience. There's a delightful exterior room with grand furniture about half way up which is a nice peaceful place to relax, in the shade, away from the crowds below."
