To enter the water you have get past pebbles.
There is a deck out of which you can jump or dive in. Not to high, even 5yo kids can meke it. There is some shade from a acacia trees along the beach, on the grassy part.
You can get a coffee and drinks from the bar/bistro near by."

"The Suna Beach offers infrastructure from the 60s - inspired by brutalism it delivers concrete borders with sharp edges to break your head or tooth, iron pins and driftwood. The locals have the nerve to call it "the most kids friendly beach on the Verbania shore".
And guess what, the German and Dutch tourists are guilty of the dirty beaches according to people here. The city council doesn't do a thing because the Germans like the wilderness, so the situation will not change soon in Verbania. This was the explanation I got. :) Poor Italians are fighting with Germans to make their beaches safer and better accessible for people. ;)
