"For my vegetarian peers who might find themselves accompanying their carnivore friends:
The vegetarian menu was, for the most part, a selection of vegetables marinated in oil and vinegar. Apart from that, we were served a plain, unseasoned potato wrapped in aluminum foil—without even a dip. Except a single fried egg, there was no protein to be found, let alone anything with real substance.
Of course, expectations for vegetarian food at a butcher’s restaurant should naturally be modest. Still, one could argue that if a vegetarian option is offered at all, it could be crafted with just a bit more thought and care.
Especially since the cost for the veggie menu is the same prize as the meat-menu.
For wine, the only choice was a really good red wine and overall the atmosphere was open and fun :)

"Truly amazing !!! I was worried after reading some reviews that I would leave hungry. After 8 courses I could not move. )I am a pretty big eater ) Portions were plentiful and full of flavor. Service was amazing. We showed up a little early and we're greeted with wine and crostini by a super friendly staff. After a little bit the crowd started forming and Dario started to mingle with the people. super friendly and took pictures with everyone that asked . He started the experience with the horn blowing and a great big welcome. We sat upstairs and had great company on both sides of our table which made the meal even more enjoyable. Started off with the beef Tartar , neck , shoulder steak , the belly , the leg and the bistecca alla fiorentina! I'm missing one but everything was memorable. For 50 euros with unlimited red wine and sparkling water it truly can't be beat."
