Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Pinacoteca Stuard for its impressive art collection, particularly works by Parmigianino and the inclusion of Leonardo da Vinci's 'La Decapellata.' The free admission and the beautiful setting within a former convent are frequently highlighted as major positives. Some reviewers note that signage is primarily in Italian, though English pamphlets are available.

"Pinacoteca is an old fortress. Inspiring picture collection focused obviously on native Parmigianino. Inside the museum situated the old wooden teatro Farnese which was replaced with new modern opera theatre (less spectacular). Inside the museum there is a real gem which is la Decapellata by Da Vinci."

Eva Kiseleva

"Someone else noted that the signage is in Italian, but I was given an informative English pamphlet on arrival. The only other person I saw throughout my visit was a security guard who gave me plenty of privacy. Excellent way to get a closeup view of medieval art plus the inside of the monastery. And it’s free!"

Doris Truong

"Well kept Pinacoteca with two floors of paintings in a gorgeous old building."
